Ode To Relatives/Rishtedaar....

Jee raha hai vo shaks khushi se, aur aage bhi badh raha hai
lagta hai khuda ne usko rishtedaar nahin diye...
achhe waqt ko bhi jo bura kar dein, aise yaar nahin deeye...

Mein Aur Meri Tanhai...

Mein aur meri tanhaai aksar yeh baatein karte hein ....
Tum hotin to aisa hota tum hotin to waisa hota tum hotin to kaisa hota ....
Tum mera towel bed pe dekh ke bhadaktin .... Man hi mann budbudaatin ...
Kabhi mere ulte pade jooton pe kabhi mozon pe chillatin ...
Shaam ko jab thaka haara mein ghar aata tum mere paas aatin ...
Aur halke se kaan mein keh jaatin.....
Suno aaj khaana nahin banaya....
Bahar se mangva lena
Butter chicken dal makhani aur naan

Voh ek drink ek peg jo mera haq banta hai .....
Peene pe tum aag baboola ho jaatin .... Kohli sahib ka heart attack...
Singh sahib ka cardiac arrest ginvaatin ....
Tum hotin to aisa hota tum hotin to waisa hota tum hotin to kaisa hota....

Kabhi mere maan baap ke dhoort chaalakiyon ka kachha chittha
ke jinse abtak mein bechaara anjaan tha....
mujhe sikhaatin batlaatin

Kabhi meri behnon ki property pe jo buri nazar hai......
 Ussey mera tvaaruff karvaatin ...

Vo mere yaar jo kabhi merr ghar pe dinon din pade rehte thei .....
Unhein drawing room tak seemit karke... Shishshtachaar nibhaati .....
Raat ko 9 baje ... Bhaia aap chai loge poochh kar .... Unhein welcome feel karvaatin ....
Tum hotin to aisa hota tum hotin to waisa hota ........

Aisa nahin ke tum dil se buri ho....
Bass meri khushiyon ke tum peechhe padi ho.....
Kyun badalna chaahti ho mujhe itna....
Ke mein khud ko pehchaan hi na paaun ....
Jeeta to rahun par jeete jee mar jaaun .....
Shukra hai ke aaj tum nahin ho ....
Apni behen ke yahan gayi hui ho .....
Aaj honsla sa karke yeh gubaar nikaal raha hoon ......
6van peg khatm hua ab saatvan daal raha hoon...

Ummeed...

Achha lagta hai jab kabhi tum yaad karte ho
chand lamhein jo mujhpe tum barbaad karte ho
dil ko ik hounsla,ik sukoon ik ummeed milti hai
phir se quaid hone ko nayi zanjeer milti hai
aaoge kisi roz bina matlab ke kareeb
dekhiya is khwaab ko bhi kahin tabeer milti hai...

HumSafar......

Durian aisi huin ki dur hi na ho paayi
Jitne nazdeek hue faasle bhi badhte rahe ....
Safar pe saath hi nikle thei aur chalte bhi rahe
Raahon mein charaagon ki tareh jalte bhi rahe
Kya kahiye yeh taqdeer thee ya muqaddar ka kusoor,
Hue na humsafar, hum safar saath mein karte bhi rahe...

AGE?? LOLZ!!! IT DOESN'T MATTER !!

Lol!! (Well there is no escape from the sms’ism’ of English, you are either with it, or too stuck up in life, lolz) And I? I so want to be ‘with it’, more than any other time in my life, not that I never claim to be indifferent to aging, BTW ‘age is all in the mind/a state of mind especially when you reach mid thirties, its funny when you are in school it’s rather easy distinction, married men are ‘uncleji’s, married women, ‘auntyji’s, call it the magic of ‘thirties’ it suddenly dawns on people, that ‘AGE’ is immaterial, what really matters is………./………/………..(different strokes for different folks.
They say confession may be good for soul but it is BAD for reputation, well if it is so, So be it, I’m going to confess it anyway, ‘I do and will do everything humanly possible to stay young (not that I am anymore) but what the heck, they also say if you feel young you are young! Haha, so I’m at a happy place in life, where age does not matter, we all have an ageless body timeless mind, we live in perfect harmony with nature, and one another, we have truly found bliss, And here’s an invite for all the special & wonderful people in my life, just that……YOU AINT IN IT !!!
PS: IF AGE DIDN’T MATTER ……THOSE WERE THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE@ SUMMER OF 69, WOULDN’T BE AN INTERNATIONAL ANTHEM OF THE AGING YOUTH!!

Suno ki har shakl keh rahi hai kahaani koi,
suno ki har chehre ki ik,apni hi daastan hai
kuchh chehron mein chamak hai sapnon ki,

kuchh khali hein us ghar ki tarah
ki jinke maalik...kahin dur des rehte hein
kuchh udaas biyaaban, or veeran shaklen
akeley sunaypan ki kahaani kehtin...
aawaaz detin roktin pukaarteen,
yeh shaklen,yeh kahaniyan………

The sham of democracy

Democracy, they say is government of the people, by the people, for the people. Now that’s one thing we have no dearth of, PEOPLE, at 1.8 billion we are more than 17% of the world’s population, no small feat that, Is it?
Now may be I am one of those cynical people who are fastidious by nature, but all this democracy business does not make too much sense to me,
Here we have a 1.8 billion people, 42% out of which are living below the poverty line, and another 34% illiterate, the kind of people who haven’t got a one in a zillion chance to land a government/private job, not even a job of a clerk. Well within the confines and the boundaries of this great nation are people who haven’t ever seen a TV, who can’t tell a scooter from a motorbike, or a cooler from a refrigerator, though they are cheap labor, and mind you I say cheap not inexpensive, not low-cost, but CHEAP! We may not want to hire them as domestic helps in our houses, coz they are ‘raw’ and ‘inexperienced’, we can’t let them be anywhere near our cooking ranges, and microwaves, but that does not take away the fact that we treat them as an equal as one of us.
Ha what a sham! Read (shame), double standards abound both in the Indian polity, and society. Who are you fooling guys, how do you justify the value of an illiterate’s vote being equal to a scientist’s, a doctor’s? You can’t, because there is no justification for this.
The fact is the 42% people below the poverty line, and the 34% illiterates continue to procreate for recreation, their population continues to grow, they are the one’s who decide which vested interest party, err Political party will fill their pockets &  bank vaults for the next five years, by the power of their vote, but thank god they have no notions pre-conceived or otherwise, and they are an understanding lot of people, just a Rs.100 And a bottle of cheap country liquor is what they expect every five years to mortgage, their own life and the lives of every other educated productive Indian. Needless to say it suits the politicians, just fine, democracy is a game of numbers and you my educated friend don’t account for much, so read those news papers & Blogs and please do indulge in armchair politics and intellectual banter and complain about things being bad, but take my word for it things won’t be bad too long, they will get worse………WORSE.
