AGE?? LOLZ!!! IT DOESN'T MATTER !!

Lol!! (Well there is no escape from the sms’ism’ of English, you are either with it, or too stuck up in life, lolz) And I? I so want to be ‘with it’, more than any other time in my life, not that I never claim to be indifferent to aging, BTW ‘age is all in the mind/a state of mind especially when you reach mid thirties, its funny when you are in school it’s rather easy distinction, married men are ‘uncleji’s, married women, ‘auntyji’s, call it the magic of ‘thirties’ it suddenly dawns on people, that ‘AGE’ is immaterial, what really matters is………./………/………..(different strokes for different folks.
They say confession may be good for soul but it is BAD for reputation, well if it is so, So be it, I’m going to confess it anyway, ‘I do and will do everything humanly possible to stay young (not that I am anymore) but what the heck, they also say if you feel young you are young! Haha, so I’m at a happy place in life, where age does not matter, we all have an ageless body timeless mind, we live in perfect harmony with nature, and one another, we have truly found bliss, And here’s an invite for all the special & wonderful people in my life, just that……YOU AINT IN IT !!!
PS: IF AGE DIDN’T MATTER ……THOSE WERE THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE@ SUMMER OF 69, WOULDN’T BE AN INTERNATIONAL ANTHEM OF THE AGING YOUTH!!

  1. this topic is something which strikes one's mind at least once in his/her life and sometimes it results into a continous struggle leading to several mental complexities...you always come up with such ideas which are inevitable to our thought process but are ignored/set aside consciously or unconsciously...your writing is paradoxical just because of the statement written as 'post script'...you know this is the technique used by great writers of folk tradition..it has a hue of philosophy with the strength to reach every single person...though a piece written with humourous undertone(your trademark!), it has tension throughout as a subaltern. "Ageing" is a rumbling of body to mind and vice versa which affects the sonority of life in various ways...phrases like "an international anthem of ageing youth", "magic of thirties" are impactful...can't resist liking the co-existence of simplicity and seriousness.

  4. Well said..."we all have an ageless body timeless mind"...Aging, I agree is truly a state of mind, which gets reflected by our thoughts and actions...no inhibitions in feeling young at heart and doing crazy things...we must do everything that makes us happy...for I believe, that only a happy soul can keep others happy...
